We are so proud to have an ongoing collaboration with Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) and have recently completed the installation of an interactive projection system in the CT scan room and the corridor leading through to the Southwood Imaging Suite.

The client wanted a continuation of their ‘Under the Sea ‘ theme, echoing our previous installation in the Reception area, with an objective of making these areas less threatening and more child-friendly.

Project Overview

We deployed state of the art interactive floor and wall technology that lets patients interact with the images by simply moving their arms to create ‘ripples’ in the projected ‘below the sea’ pictures. Not only does this provide a calm and reassuring environment, but allows the patients to have some fun by interacting with the underwater environment and be distracted from the medical environment.

Arcstream can create interactive walls of any size or shape. Also at GOSH, in the CT scan room, we installed a multimedia projection system. Using an infrared tracking system, it reacts in real time to the user’s every move.
