Arcstream leads the way for Tour de France Experience

When agency JPC asked us to deliver an interactive experience for Dimension Data during the Tour de France, we couldn’t wait to get started.

The brief was clear; a Mobile Client Experience Centre to host guests over a 17-day period and follow the progress of the race.


Project Overview

The target audience for Dimension Data and partner Cisco was C-Level and IT decision maker clients, so it was imperative to engage them with a narrative about their service capabilities and cutting-edge technology.

Arcstream installed the hardware and software into a mobile truck to inform clients about the status of the Tour de France, as well as offering ways for Dimension Data and its partners to share presentations and insights.

Amongst the technology we installed was a video wall at the entrance of the truck, an 84” screen for Cisco video conferencing, bikes that offered an augmented reality experience and of course a live feed of the race information and analytics from the data truck.

The Mobile Client Experience Centre was a great success in strengthening client relations for both Dimension Data and Cisco, as well as a fantastic race for the team with Mark Cavendish and Steve Cummings winning 5 stages during the race!
